This morning Shree successfully defended her doctoral thesis and officially has earned her Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry! While we will miss her *sweet* presence around the Theory Suite, we are excited for her to start her job at Bristol Myers Squibb working on the cheminformatics team. Have fun in New Jersey, and make sure to come back and visit! 🎉 👩‍🎓

Fiona is soon to be a senior at Colorado Mesa University, working on majors in Math and Chemistry. This summer, she is working joint between the Paton and Kim groups on computational physical organic chemistry, focusing on DFT and ML models to evaluate possible photocatalysts. Welcome!

Louis successfully defended his doctoral thesis this afternoon and is officially a PhD chemist! We will miss him lots here in the lab, but wish him luck as he and his soon-to-be wife move to Boston, where Louis will work on modeling and machine learning as part of the process team at Sanofi! Congrats Louis!
